Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: May 27, 2026
Transparency matters to us. This page explains our relationship with affiliate programmes, in compliance with applicable disclosure requirements (including FTC guidelines).
Affiliate links
Pibu may suggest products — replacements, complementary items, or alternatives — as part of your shelf audit or routine-building experience. Some of these suggestions may include affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer or brand at no additional cost to you.
How we disclose affiliate links
Affiliate links within the Pibu app are labelled clearly near the recommendation (e.g. “Affiliate link” or “We may earn a commission”). We do not hide or obscure the affiliate relationship.
Our recommendations
Affiliate relationships are not intended to determine product verdicts or override routine-fit analysis. We aim to prioritise compatibility, user context, and routine fit over commission. Product suggestions are based on publicly available ingredient information and general cosmetic guidance.
You are never required to purchase through a Pibu link. If you prefer a different retailer or a non-affiliate option, you are free to source any product however you choose.
Current programmes
We are in the early stages of building out product recommendations. If and when specific affiliate programmes are active, they will be disclosed here. At the time of this writing, no active affiliate programme is in place.
