These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pibu website (pibu.life) and the Pibu mobile application (together, the “Service”), operated by Pibu (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Beta Status

Pibu is currently in beta. The Service is provided for testing and feedback purposes. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, or be temporarily unavailable. We make no guarantees about uptime or feature continuity during the beta period.

2. Not Medical Advice

Pibu is a cosmetic routine tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information and recommendations provided by the Service are for general informational and organisational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified dermatologist, physician, or other licensed healthcare provider.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or received through Pibu. If you have a skin condition, allergy, or health concern, consult a qualified professional. See our Medical Disclaimer for more detail.

3. AI Limitations

Pibu uses AI to identify product labels and suggest routines. AI systems can make mistakes. Specifically:

• Product identification may be inaccurate, especially for products with similar packaging or partially visible labels.
• Ingredient analysis may not account for your personal health history, allergies, or medical conditions.
• Routine suggestions are general recommendations, not personalised medical guidance.

Always read product labels yourself. If you experience irritation, an allergic reaction, or any adverse effect, discontinue use of the product and consult a professional.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Pibu, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service.
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content.
• Use automated tools to submit forms or access the Service in a way that exceeds normal use.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in the Service are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Your data (e.g. your routine, your shelf) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of content you create through the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pibu and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date above when changes are made.
