Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you. This page explains what data we store and how to request its removal.

Waitlist removal

If you joined the Pibu waitlist and want your email address removed, email us at hello@pibu.life with the subject line “Waitlist removal” and the email address you used to sign up. We will delete it within 30 days.

App account deletion

Once the Pibu app is publicly available, you will be able to delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). Account deletion will remove:

• Your email address and account credentials.
• Your saved shelf (products and routines).
• Any photos stored under your account.
• Your usage history within Pibu.

If you are a beta user and cannot access the in-app deletion option, email hello@pibu.life with the subject line “Account deletion request” and the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Photo and image data

Some Pibu features process photos in real time (e.g. product label recognition) and do not retain the image after the request completes — there is nothing to delete for those features.

If a feature stores images under your account (e.g. progress photos), deleting your account or submitting a data deletion request will delete those stored image records and associated storage files, subject to legally required retention periods. You may also be able to delete individual photos from within the app once that feature is available.

Subscription data

If you subscribed to Pibu+, subscription and payment data is managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and is subject to their respective privacy policies. Deleting your Pibu account does not automatically cancel a subscription — please cancel via your device’s subscription settings before requesting account deletion.

Retention after deletion

After a deletion request is processed, we may retain minimal data for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution purposes for the period required by applicable law. This data is not used for marketing or product improvement.

Response timeline

We aim to respond to all data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. If your request requires additional verification or clarification, we will contact you at the email address you provide.
